Mass media and advertisements, societal taboos, or the theatricality of everyday life – Daido Moriyama’s (*1938, Osaka) unusually cropped, out-of-focus, and grainy black-and-white photographs went on to define the style of an entire generation. Alongside some 250 works, C/O Berlin presents dozens of never-before-exhibited photo books and magazines.
