In Jochen Lemperts (b.1958) work photography’s possibilities for depicting merge with traits of nature: a work that can be interpreted as an artistic variation on biology that invites us into a game of associations and comparisons. Yet Lempert’s poetic work also depicts nature in a state that is increasingly under threat.
